city of augusta

Augusta is a unique city. This weekend, I randomly read the wikipedia entry about Augusta. Take a minute to explore our fine city- rich in history with a tinge of embarrassment. However, it’s a great place with amazingly large opportunities and potential. Read the wikipedia article here.

I cringe @ the downtownaugusta.com website. I use it all the time, but it’s horribly ugly and it has to be a pain to update. If anyone locally is game @ banging heads together, and making a better dtaug website, let’s do it.

I’ve made a commitment to downtown Augusta by buying an office building, but I do hope our town can make improvements over the next few years. I’m going forward with guarded optimism.

Andy, I wish our design team at Powerserve (powerserve.net) could have a chance to give the downtownaugusta.com site a professional design. We always appreciate opportunities to improve the image of our home town. Augusta deserves the best.

Mike, I like your phrase “…going forward with guarded optimism…”

I think your investment in downtown is great and I hope to one day own some property there as well.
