The Reason for God and Vintage Jesus

I’ve been behind on my reading- between school and message preparation, I spend a lot of time in the books (no complaints here!) So, I’m late on my “extra-curricular” reading. However, two great books have recently been released- both are excellent and worth the read.

keller

Anything by Tim Keller is worth you time. The Reason for God is true to discussing “belief in an age of skepticism.” Keller provides great insight to common objections and arguments against the Christian faith. My friend Chris wrote a great post on Keller.

vintage jesus

Likewise, Vintage Jesus by Mark Driscoll and Gerry Breshears is an excellent read. The book is easy to read, insightful, and digestible for anyone at any stage in their faith journey. This is one of many promising texts in the Re:Lit line by the Resurgence. Chris also wrote a good post on Vintage Jesus.

So make sure something good is in your hands.
